Ranks

There are multiple ranks in War of Wizards. By winning matches in either a 1v1 or 2v2 match, you earn scores. Scores serve as ranking points, and the more you have, the higher rank you are. The current ranks are Apprentice Mage, Mage, Grand Mage, Magister, Sage of Magic, Grand Sage of Magic, and Legendary Wizard. All ranks have a sub-tier going from either 1-5 (Ex: Magister 3). The current ranking points needed for a new rank tier are as follows:

SCORES NEEDED FOR A NEW RANK

Apprentice Wizard: 0-500 Mage: 500-1000 Grand Mage: 1000-1500 Magister: 1500-2000 Sage of Magic: 2000-2500 Grand Sage of Magic: 2500-3000 Legendary Wizard: 3000+

After every 1000 ranking points, you will become the next sub-tier of your current rank. (Ex: Apprentice Mage 1 = 0-99, Apprentice Mage 2 = 100-199) The amount of scores you get per win, and the amount you lose per loss (don’t worry, you don’t lose many scores)depend on your rank compared to your opponent’s or opponents’ rank.

TRIVIA

Sometimes, if you defeat a much higher ranked player than you, (Ex: Grand Mage defeats Grand Sage of Magic, I have screenshots, this is possible, don’t try me bro) while close to moving to the next sub-tier, (Ex: Grand Mage 2 (1189) vs Grand Sage of Magic (Not important)) You will advance 2 sub-tiers in one match. This is because if a Grand Mage 2 defeats a Grand Sage of Magic, they will get over 100 scores. Therefore, if they are on 1189 ranking points and get 115 scores, they will move from Grand Mage 2, all the way to Grand Mage 4. (1189+115=1304, entirely skipping Grand Mage 3 (1200-1299))
